Director Austin is a Fierce Female, boldly making change in the world. She is a Philadelphia native. She completed her undergraduate studies at Temple University. She then went on to complete her graduate studies at the University of Pennsylvania. She holds post-graduate certifications in adolescent psychology and forensic psychology from New York University.  

Director Austin has served in dynamic capacities during her career. She served as the Director of Counseling Services at Penn State Dickinson School of Law. Prior to joining the Rutgers family, Director Austin created and served as the inaugural Director for the University of California, Irvine Womxn’s Center. 

Director Austin brings a wealth of belonging and inclusion expertise to the campus.
