Please join us for a celebration of The Senator Walter Rand Institute for Public Affairs at Rutgers University–Camden

Tuesday, June 13, 2017, 4 to 6 p.m., Multi-Purpose Room, main level, Campus Center

Southern New Jersey’s premier center for public policy research and application invites you to a special reception to celebrate the transition of leadership from Dr. Gwendolyn Harris, as she retires after 10 years at the helm of the Rand Institute, to Dr. Sarah Allred, newly appointed as Rand faculty director, and Dr. Darren Spielman, associate director.

Through Gwendy’s leadership, the Rand Institute has advanced many key policy matters in our region while also providing critical learning experiences for Rutgers University–Camden students.
Gwendy is highly respected across New Jersey for her lifetime of dedicated public service.  Her years of committed and visionary work have forged coalitions and developed policies that continue to greatly improve the quality of life across the state.  She is well known as a force for positive change.
Please join us in welcoming Sarah and Darren to their new leadership roles and in thanking Gwendy for a job well done during this special reception.  Hors d'oeuvres and drinks will be served.  Parking passes for external guests will be available upon request.
In honor of Gwendy’s dedication and leadership, please consider making a gift to the Senator Walter Rand Institute for Public Affairs at Rutgers University–Camden. This gift will pay tribute to the strong foundation set by Gwendy and will support the forward momentum and success of the Rand Institute as a preeminent applied research institute in South Jersey and beyond.
