Biography

Regina is a member of the Casualty Department where she focuses her practice on insurance fraud and Special Investigation Unit (SIU) litigation with a particular emphasis on large loss fraud and medical provider fraud. Regina's practice focuses heavily on fraud investigation, primarily dealing with evaluating both medical provider fraud and fraudulent claims on the part of clients' insureds. Her practice also deals with insurance coverage disputes, representing numerous insurance carriers across several states for the purposes of SIU investigation, bad faith litigation and general defense litigation. Prior to joining the firm, Regina was an Assistant City Solicitor in the City of Philadelphia Law Department, focusing her practice primarily on civil rights claims where she represented the City of Philadelphia Police Department, the Philadelphia Prison Systems and the First Judicial Warrant Unit. Her practice also included jury trials in both the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the Court of Common Pleas in Philadelphia County. Regina graduated from Franciscan University of Steubenville where she majored in British and American Literature and minored in Philosophy. Regina then went on to receive her juris doctor from Rutgers University - Camden School of Law in 2012. While attending law school, Regina was a research assistant to Professor Jason Cohen and served as an upper level legal writing teaching assistant to Professor Ruth Anne Robbins. In addition to this, Regina participated in the Hunter Advanced Moot Court Competition and was one of the champions in 2011. She also competed in the Rutgers Intramural Mock Trial competition and earned a spot on the Rutgers Competition Trial Team. With her team, she went on to place as a semi-finalist in the A.A.J. Trial Advocacy Competition. After law school, Regina attended Temple University - Beasley School of Law where she received her LL.M. in Trial Advocacy. Regina is admitted to the New Jersey and Pennsylvania bars and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
