Recommended: Evidence II
Open to second-term, second-year students, and all third-year students, who have completed the prerequisite course in Evidence.
Students who have completed the Intramural Mock Trial Team course are precluded from taking Trial Advocacy.
Beginning Fall 2014, Trial Ad is a pre-or co-req. for participation in the IMTT program.
Instruction in trial advocacy skills using demonstrations, lectures and participation by members of the class in the components of simulated trials. Topics include pretrial matters, openings, examination and cross-examination of witnesses, handling exhibits, objections, impeachment and closing arguments.
