Course Description



This course deals with European Private Law, the current Laws of which date back to ancient Roman Times until the Global time. The aim of the course is to familiarize students with main lines of the European Law System as well as the new unification projects of Obligations and Contract Law, which are the main objective of our study.  The course will also cover the historical roots of legal institutions, emphasizing both similarities and differences in codification solutions through a comparative analysis of European Law. Grades will be based on a final paper.
