Prerequisite: Evidence.
This condensed course examines topic areas in more depth than the basic Evidence course. It also covers some topics that may have not been explored in Evidence. Some of these topics include expert witnesses, business records, illustrative and demonstrative aids, summary charts, and impeachment. The course will involve a combination of lecture and performance workshops where you will prepare arguments for or against the admission of evidence. The course includes legal and strategy analysis of the evidence advocacy issues presented by specific problems. As time and class size permits, participants will offer the exhibits into evidence through relevant witnesses in a simulated trial setting in small group performance workshops.
