Duties	Interns participate in preparing motions for argument, performing reseach and writing assignments on a wide variety of issues. Frequently interns also attend oral arguments on the motions for which they prepared bench memos, and may particpate in discusions with the judge and her law clerks regarding motion dispositions. Interns will experience firsthand how civil court litigation is handled in the real world and will have the opportunity to observe all aspects of motion proceedings. Interns can expect to gain valuable experience in research and writing.
