Biography

Judge Donio has served as a Magistrate Judge for the District of New Jersey since March 2003. Judge Donio received her law degree in 1988, with Highest Honors, from Rutgers University School of Law - Camden, and received an award for the highest academic average of the graduating class, and was Editor-in-Chief of the Rutgers Law Journal. She clerked for the Honorable Joseph H. Rodriguez, United States District Court, Camden, New Jersey, from September 1988 to September 1989. Following her clerkship, Judge Donio was in private practice and concentrated her practice in civil litigation, commercial law and education law. While in private practice, Judge Donio served as a member of the New Jersey Supreme Court Committee on Character and the New Jersey Supreme Court Advisory Committee on Professional Ethics.

In March 2006, Judge Donio was one of the recipients of the Rutgers - Camden Finest Alumni Award in connection with Rutgers - Camden’s 55th Anniversary Celebration. Judge Donio has served as an adjunct professor at Rutgers Law School in Camden, where she has taught courses in a number of subjects including Electronic Discovery and Litigation.
