Camille Andrews is a Professor of Professional Practice of Law and a former Associate Dean at Rutgers School of Law-Camden. She has expertise in and teaches Antitrust, Evidence, Complex Litigation, Professional Responsibility, Baseball Arbitration, Sports Law and Entertainment Law. From 1996-2015, she served as a faculty advisor to the Rutgers Law Journal and was a Member of the Admissions Committee and oversaw scholarships, residency and enrollment for 20 years. She currently oversees moot court programs and assists with continuing legal education programs for the bar.
Prior to joining the law school, Camille Andrews was a Corporate Litigation partner with the Dilworth Paxson law firm in its Philadelphia office, specializing in derivative shareholder litigation, corporate counseling of special litigation committees, antitrust, trademark law, and other complex commercial litigation matters. For almost five years, she also served as general counsel to a private equity fund.
Admitted to practice in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and before the United States Supreme Court, she received her B.A., magna cum laude, from the University of Pittsburgh, where she completed a four-year program in three years. Camille Andrews graduated with honors from Rutgers School of Law-Camden, where she was a member of the Law Journal and National Moot Court Team, and the law school's Stratton Moot Court Competition (1st place and best brief).
Camille Andrews is very active with continuing legal education. She regularly lectures and has published for the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education on a variety of topics, including sexual discrimination, ethics, Americans with Disabilities Act, sports law, and rainmaking. She has also published and lectured for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute on Securities Litigation and RICO, as well as conducted PBI Seminars on Ethics and the Media and Ethics and Third-Party Litigation Funding. In 1999, Camille Andrews was awarded the Distinguished Service Award for Excellence in Continuing Legal Education by the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education.
Camille Andrews is a member of the American Bar Association: Antitrust and Litigation sections. She served as Co-Chair of the American Bar Association's Law School Administration Committee in 2002. She has also served from 2010 through 2013 on the New Jersey Supreme Court Committee on Judicial Education.
Associate Dean Andrews is committed to serving the Camden Community. She previously served on the Board of LEAP Charter School and the New Jersey Cares Board. She has served on a number of charitable boards, including the Walnut Street Theatre, ACYO Foundation, New Jersey Child Cares, and the Philadelphia Zoo Chairman’s Council.
