Professor Braithwaite received B.S.(cum laude)from LaSalle Univ. Graduated Univ. of Penna. Law School in 1973 and received a Masters of Law Degree from the Univ. of VA Law School in May 2001. Professor Braithwaite teaches Torts and Criminal Procedure-Investigations. Since Aug. 1984 until his recent retirement, he served as a judge on the Superior Court of New Jersey. The last eleven years of his tenure he was a member of the Appellate Division, the State of New Jersey's intermediate appellate court. During his tenure as judge he authored approximately 75 published opinions and was a member of the panel on numerous others.
Hon. Dennis Braithwaite served as a state Superior Court Judge in Atlantic County, and was a presiding judge in both the family and criminal divsions, before moving to the Appellate Division until his retirement in 2005. During his tenure, he authored approximately 75 published opinions and co-authored several more. He teaches torts and criminal procedure investigations.
