The Law School’s Association for Public Interest Law (APIL) holds its annual auction to raise funds to provide stipends for students to work in the summer at nonprofit legal organizations and government entities.

The auction, held on the Law School Bridge, will feature Johnson’s popcorn, salt water taffy, sand, surfboards, games, and great items to bid on such as tickets to theater, sports, and music events,  dining, lodging & retail gift certificates, cooking lessons, home services.

Last year, thanks to the contributions of students, faculty, staff, alumni, law firms, and local businesses, APIL raised nearly $25,000 that funded fellowships at sites including local prosecutor and defender offices, Fair Share Housing Center, Colorado Legal Services, Philadelphia Commission on Human Relations, South Jersey Legal Services, US Department of Labor, the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office, and many others.

To make a donation of items for auction, contact the Auction co-chairs at apilauction@gmail.com or 856-225-6406.
