This program will identify legal barriers that individuals with criminal backgrounds commonly face and focus on the legal relief necessary to ensure successful community and family reunification. Topics will include New Jersey expungement law, including recent amendments effective this year, and driver's license restoration, with particular focus on municipal suspensions and inability to pay child support. 

Guest speakers include: The Hon. Marvin Adames from Newark Municipal Court; David Perry Davis, Esq., from The Law Office of David Perry Davis; Karen Robinson Esq., from Volunteer Lawyers for Justice; and Geoffrey N. Rosamond, Esq., from McCarter & English LLP.
