The Rutgers Center for Immigration Law, Policy and Justice is hosting its inaugural Distinguished Immigration and Citizenship Lecture featuring Pulitzer Prize winning journalist Jose Antonio Vargas.

The event will begin at 6 p.m. in Room 80 in the Center for Law and Justice at 123 Washington St. in Newark.

Vargas will talk about his book, “Dear America: Notes of an Undocumented Citizen.”

The event will begin with a book signing from 6 to 6:30 p.m., followed by welcoming remarks and a Question and Answer session  from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
