Estefania Vela, the Director of the Sexual and Reproductive Rights Program of the Legal Studies Division from the Center for Research and Teaching in Economics in Mexico, will be speaking on “LGBT People’s Rights in Mexico: Between State Inaction and Conservative Uprising.”

Her lunchtime talk is taking place on Tuesday, Feb. 13, from 12:15 to 1:15 p.m. in Room 20 at Rutgers Law School in Newark, at 123 Washington St.

The talk is sponsored by the Transnational Legal Initiative, in partnership with Rutgers Center for Gender, Sexuality, Law and Policy.
