Experts on Blockchain technology will participate in a panel discussion at Rutgers Law School in Newark on April 19 titled “Blockchain Technology and its Implications for Corporate Governance and the Law.”

The program will take place in the Baker Court Room from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at the Center for Law and Justice, 123 Washington St. in Newark. The talk is sponsored by the Rutgers Center for Corporate Law and Governance, the Rutgers Computer and Technology Law Journal, and the Rutgers Institute for Professional Education. An informal reception will follow.

Speakers will include Robert Hockett, a law professor and professor of public affairs at Cornell Law School; Jeffrey Neuburger, a partner at Proskauer Rose LLP, co-chair of the firm’s Technology, Media and Telecommunications Group, and editor of his firm’s Blockchain and the Law blog; Susan Ramonat, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Spiritus Partners Inc., and Grainne McNamara, Principal at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
