Rutgers Law students are invited to visit the Nasdaq’s Philadelphia headquarters to see live open-outcry derivative trading on one of the country’s oldest securities exchanges. After watching the trading in action, we’ll have a chance to meet and talk with Nasdaq’s regulatory and legal officials who manage the options, futures, and equities exchanges. Learn about how these financial instruments work and why they matter, see how they’re traded, and hear about how they’re regulated. The visit will last roughly an hour.

Likely speakers include:
- Angela Saccomandi-Dunn (Principal Associate General Counsel)
- Michael Blackson (Senior Director of Options Surveillance)
- Dan Carrigan (President of Nasdaq Futures)
- Allen Broadbent (Senior Surveillance Specialist - Options)

Hosted by Profs. Jacob Russell and Arthur Laby.  Special thanks to Patrick Medeo for connecting us to PHLX and helping organize the event!

Space is limited, and spots are first come first serve. You MUST RSVP to attend this event. Please RSVP by January 11, 2019 to carol.shaner@law.rutgers.edu.
