Alumni Association NYC Chapter Collects Toys for the Needy

The Rutgers Law School-Newark Alumni Association’s New York City Chapter held its first Toy Drive on December 12th.  The Hog Pit Bar in Manhattan graciously hosted the event, providing the space and free drinks for all attendees who donated a toy. Attendees enjoyed each other’s company while networking for a purpose. The current president of the Newark Alumni Association, Joseph Linares and the immediate past president, Maritza Rodriguez, were in attendance. The toys that were collected will be donated to Goodwill.

In an effort to reach out to law school graduates from Newark and Camden who are working in and around New York City and bring together alumni who want to be active participants of the Alumni Association and maintain ties with their colleagues, officers from the Rutgers School of Law Alumni Association created a chapter in NYC.
