This program covers the fundamentals of municipal court practice in New Jersey. The speakers are Hon. Nicholas P. Scutari, attorney, municipal prosecutor and New Jersey state Senator; Hon. Leon Grauer, Municipal Court Judge in Newark; and Edward Kologi, of Kologi * Simitz, Counsellors at Law in Linden.

Attorneys will learn about procedures, common cases, ethics, and immigration consequences for defendants. Attendees will gain the understanding of how to conduct themselves in municipal court and how to avoid some of the common pitfalls. This program can be used toward the New Jersey newly admitted attorney requirement.
