DL= Distance Learning: Under current ABA guidance, all courses taught in the Holodeck are considered distance learning. This includes Holodeck courses where the professor is live, right in front of you, but is also teaching students in the other location. A student may take up to 15 credits of distance learning while in law school.
Courses taught in the Holodeck have either a room designation of 323HOLO-N (Newark-based course) or 323HOLO-C (Camden-based course).
EXCLUSIONS: Hunter Moot Court: Students who take Hunter Moot Court may not also take Persuasion in Legal Writing. Students who have had Persuasion in Legal Writing may take Hunter Moot Court, but will earn only one (1) graded credit in the fall semester (and two credits in the spring semester). Room Locations: Room numbers beginning with E are in the East building. Room E107 is the Moot Court Room. Room E107-A is the Jury Room.

^ SPECIAL NOTES
Advanced Evidence (Lore) – Intensive course – will meet Friday, February 2, Saturday, February 3 and Sunday, February 4 from 9:00-1:00; Friday, February 9 and Saturday, February 10 from 9:00-1:00; and Sunday, February 11 from 9:00-3:00.
Business Torts Lab does not meet every week, though students need to be available every week.
Criminal Practice (Cipparone) – It is strongly recommended that students take Trial Advocacy before or in conjunction with this course.
Cuba Legal Field Study – will meet on the following Saturdays: January 13, 20, 27; February 3, 10, 17, 24; March 3, 24 and March 31st, 2018. Students taking this course must travel to Cuba during the 2018 Spring Break.
Family Law Motion Practice – First class will be Thursday, January 11th. It will meet for ten weeks; the last class will be Tuesday, March 27th.
Marshall Brennan Program - some additional class time will be required.
Prisoner Reentry: Legal Issues – This is a cross-listed course and will meet an extra 10 minutes per class.
*1L Day Classes – The extra time built into the Thursday schedule can be used for make-up classes if necessary.
