Special Notes:
** Law School Commencement is Thursday, May 18, 2017. There will be no classes on this day.
^ Civil Mediation meets 5 days. This course satisfies the NJ Courts civil mediator roster training requirements.
^ Civil Practice Clinic: In addition to class sessions, students in the course must also be available at times other than the scheduled hours to attend hearings, and meet with clients, classmates, the supervising attorney and other interested parties in the case(s) at the law school or other locations. As a result, students must have some flexibility in their schedules, to permit them to accommodate these additional time demands. Students are responsible for their cases, and will continue to meet weekly with the supervising attorney until the middle of August.
^ Critical Legal Analysis: In addition to class sessions, there will be additional class meetings and conferences with the professor outside the scheduled class hours.
^ Interviewing and Counseling: There will also be class on Monday, July 24th and Tuesday, July 25th from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm to accommodate a highly interactive module from the National Institute for Trial Advocacy Training. Due to the intensive scheduling of the course, final assignments will be due in the weeks after the session ends; limited out-of-class in- person meetings will be required and scheduled flexibly.
Room Locations: Room numbers beginning with E are in the new East building. Room E107 is the Moot Court Room. Room E107-A is the Jury Room.
