Duties	Students will review the case file, including parties' statements, briefs, and the lower court opinion, and write a summary for the mediator. Students will discuss the case with the mediator, attend the mediator meetings, conduct some followup communication with the parties or their counsel.
Agency description	The Program Director and a circuit mediator serve as mediators in selected cases on appeal to the Third Circuit. Eligible cases are civil cases in which parties are represented by counsel and which have issues that are capable of being mediated and settled.
