Duties | Will work under the direction of the Judge and Judge's law clerks, who will assign tasks related to pending cases and legal issues before the court. Focused on legal research and writing and may be asked to assist the Courtroom Deputy with various courtroom proceedings and perform minimal admin support tasks in order to gain exposure to a federal trial court. Will have the opportunity to draft at least one memorandum order or opinion in response to a motion filed in one of the Court's various cases, including patent and trademark, personal injury, employment, Social Security, and civil rights litigation. Will utilize a variety of legal sources including the Federal Rules of Evidence, the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, Delaware state law, and federal administrative rules and regulations.
