Garrie is the Senior Partner & Co-Founder of Law & Forensics LLC, a technology consulting firm that specializes in e-discovery, software, computer forensics, and cybersecurity. His work with Law & Forensics includes preparing incident response plans for cyber incidents, serving as an expert witness, developing e-discovery playbooks, and conducting digital forensic investigations. Prior to founding Law & Forensics LLC, Garrie built and sold three separate companies.

As a Neutral with JAMS, Daniel Garrie serves as an E-Discovery Special Master, Forensic Neutral, and Mediator/Arbitrator with a focus on complex software and business litigation, e-discovery disputes, privacy and data breach matters, trade secret theft, and intellectual property litigation. Garrie is renowned as a Neutral, Special Master, and Mediator/Arbitrator for his ability to resolve e-discovery and technology-related disputes thoroughly and cost effectively. Garrie's background and experience in both law and computer science provide a unique perspective and an unsurpassed level of understanding on legal/technology matters. He brings many years of diverse technical and litigation experience in complex disputes, first as a technical expert and with 15+ years as a neutral and lawyer.

Garrie is a nationally recognized educator and lecturer on computer software, cybersecurity, ediscovery, forensics, emerging Internet and mobile technologies, and cyber warfare. He has published over 150 articles and is cited in more than 500 articles and opinions. He is the editor in chief of the Journal of Law & Cyber Warfare, a fellow at the Ponemon Information Privacy Institute, and is on the Board of Advisors of several cybersecurity and technology start-ups.

Garrie also is a Cybersecurity Partner at the law firm Zeichner Ellman & Krause LLP.
