601:641. EDUCATION LAW AND PRACTICE (3)
This course surveys a set of topics in education law in both the K-12 and higher education settings. Topics include the rights of students and teachers, special education and disability, the place of religion and morality in the schools, student discipline, privacy of records, liability of school officials, discrimination based on gender and race in the school context, and the rights and responsibilities of faculty.
