Biography

Paris McPherson, Ed.D is the Assistant Director of the Minority Student Program in Camden. Prior to joining Rutgers Law School, Dr. McPherson was the Associate Director of Student Engagement & Access at Temple University for three years, where she was responsible for directing several pipeline initiatives including dual enrollment and scholarship programs serving underrepresented students in Philadelphia. She also created and developed collaborative partnerships with educational non-profit organizations to increase college access for Philadelphia students. Prior to that, Dr. McPherson worked, for eight years, as the Assistant Director for Learning support at Temple University’s athletic department where she led the Learning Enhancement and Academic Development program. 

Dr. McPherson received her Doctor of Education in 2023 from Temple University. Prior to that she earned a B.S. and M.S. in Social Work from Temple University.
