This CLE program focuses on the nuts and bolts of preparing the necessary paperwork to file an expungement petition under the New Jersey Criminal Expungement Law. The law and process to obtain an expungement is complicated. Since the rules demand strict adherence to very technical requirements, the program will provide guidance as to how to avoid mistakes in preparing and filing an expungement petition. This course is also valuable for any attorney seeking an overview of the expungement process and is designed to offer a focused and practical explanation to practitioners on how to prepare and process an expungement petition.

Most recently Ms. Cohen has been a full time municipal prosecutor in the City of Camden and Stratford Borough.
