What:  A program regarding implicit bias will be offered prior to the Minority Student Program’s Fall Reception. Professor Stacy Hawkins, a renowned expert on employment law and diversity, will discuss the science behind implicit bias and the implications of implicit bias for the practice of law and the administration of justice.  In addition, Professor Hawkins will identify practical techniques for overcoming the operation of implicit bias in an attorney’s daily practice and in the legal profession.
