Spring Lecture Series on Law & the Trump Administration

Law & The Trump Administration: Expert Perspectives

The election is over and it’s time to think about the real-world consequences that are likely to follow in the wake of policy changes instituted by the incoming administration.

Throughout the spring semester, faculty from the law school and other departments on campus invite you to participate in discussions about what comes next and what it means for the law.

The series kicks off on Wednesday, January 18 from 12:15 p.m.-2:00 p.m. in room E-108 with Professor Katie Eyer who will discuss the future of LGBT rights and Professor Joanne Gottesman who will discuss the future of immigrants’ rights. Vice Dean Mutcherson will moderate. We promise to provide plenty of time for audience participation and discussion. And, of course, we will serve lunch!

Future sessions are likely to tackle the fate of the Affordable Care Act, reproductive justice, voting rights, affirmative action, information technology/cybersecurity, armed conflict and the fight against terrorism, climate change, and more! Stay tuned for more information and specific dates.
