We are thrilled to welcome Rashida Richardson, formerly Director of Policy Research at AI Now Institute, where she designed, implemented, and coordinated AI Now's research and initiatives on law, policy, and civil rights. Rashida researches the social and civil rights implications of data driven technologies, including artificial intelligence, and develops policy interventions and regulatory strategies regarding data driven technologies, government surveillance, racial discrimination, and the technology sector. Rashida has also taught innovation and information on government regulation of automated decision systems and government procurement of technology.
