The Rutgers Law School chapter of the Association of Black Law Students in Newark is launching a mentoring program for undergraduate pre-law students from Rutgers called L.E.A.P. - Law Students Engaging Actively with Pre Law students.
The ABLS student organization has partnered with the Rutgers Newark Pre-Law advising department and the law school's Minority Student Program. At the kick-off event, undergraduate students are invited to attend an admissions discussion in Room 10 at the Center for Law and Justice at 123 Washington St. in Newark from 4 to 5 p.m. MSP Dean Yvette Bravo-Weber will speak to the students.
The attendees are invited to a mixer with current Rutgers Law students from 5 to 6 p.m. on the third floor atrium.
The event is free to attend.
