Rutgers Law and Seton Hall Law students studying bankruptcy law will square off in a moot court competition while competing for scholarship money at the Hon. Rosemary Gambardella Scholarship Competition on Monday, November 19 at the Center for Law and Justice at 123 Washington St. in Newark. The free event is sponsored by the New Jersey Turnaround Management Association (NJTMA)  and the Rutgers Center for Corporate Law and Governance and is open to students, NJTMA members and the general public.

Four students – two from Professor Chrystin Ondersma’s bankruptcy law class at Rutgers Law and two from Professor Stephen J. Lubben’s class at Seton Hall Law School will compete in a bankruptcy case study competition. The Rutgers students are Sam Taddeo and David Idokogi and the Seton Hall Law students are Conor McMullan and T.J. Nichols.

The competition will be held at 5:30 p.m. in the Baker Trial Courtroom on November 19 at . A total of $5,000 in scholarship money from the NJTMA will be awarded. . After the competition, NJTMA will host a reception for the students, professors, and members of NJTMA at Barcade in Newark.
