601:675. Trademark Law (3)
Will introduce students to the basic principles of contemporary trademark and unfair competition law in
the United States. Students will learn what constitutes a trademark, how trademark rights are acquired,
how trademarks relate to other regimes of intellectual property, how infringement is proven, and what
remedies are available for infringement. The course will also examine other contemporary trademark
issues
such as dilution, false advertising, online trademarks, and rights of
publicity.
