Representing clients in a variety of practice areas, such as consumer, Social Security, public benefits, landlord-tenant actions, family law, and estate planning.

This is both a law school course and a law office staffed by students, who represent low-income South Jersey residents in a variety of practice areas such as consumer, Social Security, public benefits, landlord-tenant actions, family law, and estate planning. It is open to full or part-time students who have completed 2/3 of their legal education and taken Evidence and Professional Responsibility. This clinic is at our Camden location.

Meet the Faculty

Traci Overton, Clinic Director

Traci Overton is the Director of the Civil Practice Clinic (CPC) , a general civil litigation clinic at Rutgers School of Law. In the CPC, third year students provide critical legal services to low-income residents of South Jersey in a broad range of practice areas, including family law, housing law, SSI/SSDI disability law and consumer law.
