Biography

Dr. Amy Miller serves as the Associate Dean of Student Affairs at Rutgers Law School in Camden, where her primary focus is the well-being and success of over 500 law students. In this capacity, she provides crucial support in counseling, academic advisement, and mental health programming. Additionally, she oversees the management of ADA accommodations and the handling of academic integrity matters, while also spearheading the coordination of exams, registration, and hallmark events such as Orientation and Commencement.

Dean Miller holds an Ed.D. and MSEd. from the University of Pennsylvania’s Graduate School of Education, as well as a B.S. in Organization Communication from Ithaca College. Her doctoral research focused on identity development in mixed-race populations in the United States, reflecting her deep-seated commitment to diversity and equity in education.

Before her tenure at Rutgers, she held several key positions at the Wharton School of Business including Director of Global Immersion Programs and Associate Director of Academic Affairs. Notably, she also taught two core courses in Management Communications and Crisis Communications.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Dean Miller’s passion for travel and exploration, nurtured by her upbringing in South Korea and Japan, has led her to traverse 40 countries and explore 41 states within the United States.
