Associate Dean Sarah Regina is responsible for student services, including but not limited to counseling, academic advisement, independent projects, and deferred examinations; non-academic student organizations; and orientation and graduation-related activities. She is responsible for handling violations of the University Code of Student Conduct and handles questions about, or claims of, sexual or racial harassment. In addition, she is responsible for administrative duties that include the submission of reports to University central administration and other outside groups and agencies. Dean Regina’s office also manages accommodations for students with disabilities and guides students through the process of applying for accommodations. 

The Office of Student Affairs oversees and directs the Law School’s Academic Support Program, which is designed to ensure academic success of students, both in law school and on the bar exam.  Dean Regina teaches Critical Legal Analysis and provides academic counseling to students who are underperforming or seek to improve their academic performance. In addition, Dean Regina runs a continuing orientation workshop series for first year students - 1L 101. The workshop series covers essential law school skills like reading and briefing cases, preparing for class, outlining, studying and exam taking.

Ms. Regina is a graduate of the Law School, where she was symposium editor of the Rutgers Law Review, a board member of the Loan Repayment Assistance Program, and a Teaching Assistant for Legal Writing. She also was a Levin Scholarship and a Kosloski Scholarship recipient, and a Proskauer Rose Public Interest Fellow. At graduation, Ms. Regina received the Judge J. Skelly Wright Prize, which is given to the member of the graduating class who contributed the most to civil rights, civil liberties, and human affairs during law school. 

Dean Regina earned her undergraduate degree at Northwestern University. From 2014-2016 she was the Law School’s Director of Academic Support, and before that she was a Clinical Law Fellow in the Rutgers Child Advocacy Clinic. After graduating from law school, she practiced as a litigation associate in the New York office of Hughes Hubbard and Reed.
