Michael L. Rosenberg retired in 2013 as a director of Sterns & Weinroth, PA, where he practiced in the areas of civil litigation and complex multi-party product liability and toxic tort litigation. Since 1995, he has been a Certified Civil Trial Attorney, and over the course of his 45-year career has tried a wide variety of cases, both civil and criminal, in State and Federal courts. Mr. Rosenberg has also been a real estate tax lawyer, a private criminal lawyer, a Public Defender, and a Prosecutor. He is also a mediator certified by both the New Jersey and Federal Courts. In the past 10 years, he has mediated all-types of cases, including contracts, employment, construction, professional liability, and product liability.

Mr. Rosenberg has defended manufacturers and distributors of consumer products, medical equipment, and heavy machinery in product liability suits. He has represented clients in mass tort actions involving asbestos related issues. For over 10 years, he represented an international pharmaceutical company in litigation involving the transmission of hepatitis C by one of its products. In this litigation, he acted as one of 4 regional counsel, and was selected by the client to act as lead trial counsel for the multi-district litigation in California.

Mr. Rosenberg received his undergraduate degree in political science from The Pennsylvania State University in 1966 and his Juris Doctorate from Rutgers University School of Law (Newark) in 1969.
