Professor Robert F. Williams

For over a quarter century, the State Constitutional Law Lecture at Rutgers Law School has drawn leading figures in American state constitutionalism, foreign subnational constitutionalism, and federalism to participate in this celebrated annual event.

The lecture is a perennial success due largely to the efforts of Robert F. Williams, retired distinguished professor at Rutgers Law School and former director of Rutgers University– Camden’s Center for State Constitutional Studies, the only center in the world to provide interdisciplinary expertise on state and subnational constitutional law.

As the lecture approaches its 30th anniversary next year, now is the perfect time to name it in honor of Professor Williams. The goal is to raise $100,000 in support of the Robert F. Williams State Constitutional Law Lecture. This amount will ensure that Rutgers Law School remains able, every year, to host the lecture and cover the honoraria and travel costs of distinguished speakers.

We are already halfway to reaching this goal. You can help us cross the finish line. To give, please visit our giving site here.
