Winter Session
Rutgers Law School offers a number of remote courses over the one-week Winter Session in both Camden and Newark. Enrolling in Winter session provides students the opportunity to earn credit towards their graduation requirement of 84 credits.
Who can take Winter Session Courses?
- All upper-level Rutgers Law students
- Rutgers and non-Rutgers graduate students
- Students currently enrolled at another ABA-approved law school (limited to upper division students)
Law students may take one course for up to two credits during Winter Session. Current Rutgers Law students should contact the Dean of Academic Affairs for further information. Students from other ABA-approved law schools should contact Rutgers Law Admissions for further information about taking a course as a visiting student with Rutgers.
Courses offered by the law school are graduate level courses unless specifically listed otherwise in the course description; normally, only those with undergraduate degrees will be considered for registration. Credits transfer at the discretion of the receiving school, so check with your institution if they will accept transfer credits from Rutgers Law School. Class registration is subject to approval and capacity limits.
