Accessibility at Rutgers Law

Rutgers Law School welcomes and is committed to the academic success of all students with disabilities. We value the diverse experiences that students with disabilities bring to the Law School community.

Sarah Regina (Newark) and Amy Miller (Camden), the Law School's Associate Deans of Student Affairs, work with the Office of Disability Services (ODS) on their respective campuses to ensure that reasonable accommodations are implemented appropriately for students with disabilities.

Students may begin the process of requesting services by​​​​​ registering directly with ODS. The Law School’s Deans of Student Affairs are available to answer questions, but do not determine reasonable accommodations or review documentation submitted during the registration process. Once registered, students will meet with ODS staff. The requests are reviewed, and a determination is made and conveyed to both the student and the Law School’s Office of Student Affairs. Students work directly with the Law School’s Office of Student Affairs to ensure implementation of all accommodations. If the student has concerns regarding the denial of a requested accommodation and/or the implementation of an approved accommodation, they may seek to resolve their concerns through the informal resolution procedures or through the grievance process.
