Student Ambassador Spotlight

While the Admissions Office is here to help answer any and all questions you may have, we understand applicants sometimes may want to hear directly from current students. As such, our Student Ambassadors are here to help provide a window into the community, culture, curriculum, and vast opportunities here at Rutgers Law School. Whether you are interested in the full-time or part-time program, Camden or Newark location, hear from those who have been in your shoes and decided to join the Rutgers Law community.

2025-2026 Student Ambassadors

Kayla Hadash ‘27

Kayla has a B.S. in Music Business and a background in music. She plans on pursuing a career in entertainment and/or intellectual property law, with an emphasis on copyright policy and regulation. She is originally from Houston, TX, and now lives in Philadelphia. At Rutgers, Kayla is the Co-Founder and President of the Music Law and Licensing Association, as well as the Treasurer for the Rutgers Intellectual Property Law Association.

Alessandra Alberti '28

A North Jersey native, Alessandra graduated from Florida Atlantic University, earning a B.B.A. in Management Information Systems with a concentration in Cybersecurity. She began at Rutgers Law School in Fall 2025 and plans to pursue a career in corporate law following graduation.

Julia Tabasco ‘27

Julia earned a B.A. in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland. She participated in Camden’s Summer Jump Start Program and is a proud member of the Minority Student Program. She currently serves as the Secretary for the Business & Commercial Law Society and Associate Editor on the Rutgers Computer and Technology Journal. Julia plans to pursue business/corporate law and focus on transactional practice.

Bailey Wilkins ‘27

Bailey attended Regent University, where she received her B.S. in Clinical and Counseling Psychology. Upon graduating, Bailey became a social worker for the Investigations Division of Child Protective Services in Chesapeake, VA, where she discovered her passion for child advocacy. Over the past year, she has interned with the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General, Division of Children and Family, and currently serves as President of the Family Law Society.

Melissa Kampf ‘28

Melissa is from Ocean City, NJ, and earned a B.S. in Environmental Studies from the University of Vermont. Since graduating, she has worked as a project manager in both the public sector and the renewable energy industry. She participated in the Summer Jump Start Program and is a member of the Commercial and Business Law Society and the Environmental Law Society. Melissa is interested in pursuing a career in business, real estate, and environmental law.

A native of Old Bridge, NJ, Dyllan is a graduate of The College of New Jersey with a B.S. in Finance. At Rutgers Law School, he is a member of Phi Alpha Delta, the Corporate Law and Governance Society, and the Tax Law Society.

Brianna Handley '28

Brianna attended the University of Florida, where she earned a B.S. in Public Health and a B.A. in English. She is passionate about health equity and plans to pursue a career in health and disability law and policy. Before attending Rutgers Law, she contributed to health policy projects with Tobacco Free Florida and the Florida Health Policy Leadership Academy. She is originally from St. Augustine, Florida.

Jacob Sokol '28

Jacob earned a B.S. in Business Management at TCNJ, where his studies focused on the intersection of business, law, and psychology. He has completed internships in the music and entertainment industry, the life sciences industry, and with Congressman Thomas Kean Jr. Born in Chicago and raised in New Jersey at a young age, Jacob plans to pursue a career in public interest law following graduation.

Miriam Zayed '27

Miriam earned a B.A. in Political Science and Middle Eastern Studies from John Jay College (CUNY). She is a clinical student and Fellow in the Immigrant Rights Clinic and a Fellow at the Center for Security, Race, and Rights (CSRR). Miriam is a member of the MSP and serves as a Staff Editor on the Journal of Law and Religion. She is passionate about advancing immigrant justice and advocating for marginalized communities.

Mike Baseggio '28

Mike earned a B.A. in Psychology at the University of Vermont. At UVM, Mike served as a Student Assistant to the Men's Hockey Coaching Staff for four years. Before attending law school, Mike worked as a litigation paralegal, assisting the Boston Bruins front office in preparing for offseason contract negotiations. Mike was recently named NIL Ambassador by the Sports & Entertainment Law Society, spearheading student efforts to initiate the formation of an NIL clinic.
