Biography

Alan J. Pollack, Adjunct Professor at Rutgers Law School, has been in immigration practice in both New Jersey and New York for 30 years. Although Immigration Law is a national practice, he takes cases from all over the world. He is a Past Chair of the New Jersey Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and a Past Chair of the Immigration Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association. Mr. Pollack presently serves on AILA National’s USCIS Committee. Mr. Pollack has also been an Adjunct Professor at Montclair State University where he has taught courses on Immigration Law and Politics and Business Immigration Law. Mr. Pollack was named a Best Lawyer and Law Firm for the State of New Jersey (Immigration) by U.S. News & World Report for the past several years including 2024 and 2025. The Firm has also been accepted into the Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers, the highest achievement possible under the Martindale Hubbell attorney ratings system. Mr. Pollack often speaks for both the State Bar and AILA national on Immigration topics including Ethics. Mr. Pollack practices in all areas of Immigration and Naturalization and conducts I-9 audits and compliance. His well-rounded experience allows him to develop a comprehensive strategy for even the most complex immigration-related cases.
