NLG Presents 2025 Abolition Week: "Behind the Bars" Book Drive
Join NLG for our annual Abolition Week events! We will be hosting a series of trainings, a screening, and a letter writing workshop along with a book drive to collect books for incarcerated people in NJ!
This year, we will collect donations for “Books Behind Bars,” A grassroots, volunteer-run prison abolition project that provides free books upon request to people incarcerated in New Jersey prisons, in commemoration of 2025's Abolition Week.
