Biography
Janice is an adjunct professor at Rutgers Law School teaching a Real Estate Law Practicum.
Janice’s practice is concentrated in the areas of Real Estate, Civil Litigation, Estate Administration, and Workers’ Compensation. She is admitted to the New Jersey State Bar, Pennsylvania State Bar, District of New Jersey Bar, U.S. District Court Third Circuit Bar, and the U.S. Supreme Court Bar. Janice appeared before the U.S. Supreme Court as co-counsel in the case of J. McIntyre Machinery, Ltd. v. Nicasto, 564 U.S. 873 (2011).
Janice served as Chancellor for the Rutgers Law School Camden Alumni Association from 2017-2019. In 2022, she received the Rutgers Law School Alumni Association’s Nardi Award for service to the Law School and Community.
Janice served as the Burlington County Trustee for the New Jersey State Bar Association from 2017-2024, and is currently serving a two-year term on the State Bar Association’s Nominating Committee.
Janice is currently a trustee of the Burlington County Bar Foundation and Burlington County Bar Association. She is a past president of the Burlington County Bar Association, a past president of the Burlington County Bar Foundation, past Chair of the Real Estate Committee, past Chair of the Worker’s Compensation Committee, and past Chair of the Technology Committee.
A 1997 graduate of Rutgers Law School, Janice received her undergraduate degree in Business Administration from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. From September 1997 – August 1998, she was law clerk to the Honorable Roger F. Mahon, deceased, of the Superior Court of New Jersey in Hunterdon County.
