Biography

Monil recently joined BMS as an Associate Director for our Ethics and Compliance Department conducting internal investigations. He comes from the Delaware Department of Justice where he held several roles over the past 10 years. Prior to BMS, he served as Deputy Attorney General in the Civil Rights and Public Trust Division, where he handled investigations of officer-involved shootings, whistleblower complaints, government official misconduct, hate crimes, Civil Rights violations, and Voter Rights Infringement, while advising on policy and ethical obligations.

Prior to that role, he worked as a Deputy Attorney General supervisor in the Criminal Division where he tried over 70 jury trials, managed a diverse caseload, and negotiated plea resolutions. Monil also is an adjunct professor at Rutgers Law School in Camden where he teaches Advanced Evidence and Criminal Practice and Procedure.
