The pervasive fear, Islamophobia, xenophobia, weakened civil liberties protections, and exponentially increased funding and surveillance capitalism of the post-9/11 era have enabled an unprecedented breadth and scale of surveillance reigning across the United States today—disproportionately impacting Muslims, immigrants, and protesters for racial, environmental, and labor justice. This panel is geared to prospects and undergrad students considering law school, especially those who want to learn about the advancement of Black students in the law and community. Our panelists will discuss their time at Rutgers Law School, what they have learned, and the advice they wish they had received when starting their law school journey. |
In-Person Information Session Registration
Additionally, the Office of Admissions hosts in-person Information Sessions once a month on each campus. Information Sessions consist of a student-led tour of the Law School as well as an hourlong presentation by a member of our Admissions Office who will discuss the application process, experiential learning opportunities, student organizations, curriculum, and much more.
