The Rutgers School of Law-Newark Alumni Association honored three graduates at its Annual Recognition Dinner on November 1, 2017. They were: Alan M. Cohen '79, Senior Policy Advisor to the Chairman of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, who received a Distinguished Alumnus Award; Jennifer G. Velez '96, Senior Vice President of Community and Behavioral Health at RWJBarnabas Health, who received a Distinguished Alumna Award; and Hon. Sue Pai Yang '84, JWC (Ret.), who received the Fannie Bear Besser Award for Public Service.
The Newark location celebrated Reunion Weekend 2017 by welcoming back 175 graduates.
