A student in good academic standing may pursue a dual-degree program if the student is admitted both by Rutgers Law School and by another graduate or professional degree program of Rutgers University or another educational institution. We encourage all individuals interested in pursuing a dual degree to meet with the vice dean before enrolling in another graduate program.
The list below is not exhaustive. Rutgers University offers a wide range of graduate degrees at the master's and doctoral level, and with permission of the vice dean, a law student may create a dual-degree with another graduate degree offered by Rutgers or another institution.

As an undergraduate business major, I was looking for a way to intersect my interests in business and law, which is why I pursued my JD/MBA at Rutgers. Upon graduation from the dual-degree program, I started as a bankruptcy and restructuring associate at Saul Ewing Arnstein & Lehr LLP in Philadelphia, where I regularly use my business background to understand corporate restructuring issues and interact with our business clients. I also believe my dual-degree has given me a better understanding of how the business of a law firm works, which is critical to understanding department and firm goals.
