Biography

Professor Joseney joins Rutgers Law from Georgetown University Law Center, where she taught in the clinical program, supervising students in workers' rights cases and teaching topics related to case theory and development in litigation. 

Professor Joseney's scholarship focuses on deceptive and unfair trade practices and consumer protection. Her latest article, Targeting Unfairness — forthcoming in the Vanderbilt Law Review -— uses case studies of racialized marketing to examine the potential impact of targeted advertising practices on health and health disparities. 

Professor Joseney began her legal career in private practice as a litigator at Davis Polk in New York. She then served as an enforcement attorney for the Federal Trade Commission's Bureau of Consumer Protection for several years. Professor Joseney earned her JD from Columbia Law School.
